Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain can be difficult to treat unless you know what the problem actually is.
The three most common conditions that directly affect the shoulder joint are:
1. Rotator cuff muscle problems
2. Sub-acromial bursitis
3. Sprain/misalignment of the acromioclavicular (a/c) joint
Diagnosing your shoulder pain is the first part of my job. We do that by checking your ability to move the shoulder and see when the pain begins. That tells me a lot about what structures are involved. Testing the individual muscles also tells me if the problem is rotator cuff related. Sometimes the neck can be a factor in your shoulder pain too.
The second part is to treat it properly based on that diagnosis. Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments to the neck and shoulder, acupuncture points, and even applying sports tape to support the ligaments of the shoulder girdle.
In any case my office can do a free consultation and evaluation of your shoulder and tell you if I can help you with your problem or not.

Transcription: “Hi my name is Darin McGill. I come to Dr. Ebeling for a variety of problems. I’ve had 11 surgeries, about to have my 12th one. Been in and out of doctors, hospitals, and he’s the first one who has ever been able to do anything for me on a regular basis. I suffer from migraine headaches, I’m having a lot less of those now. My back is much better. My shoulder is about to be replaced, and he is the only one out of 4 doctors that I have been to that’s been able to ease the pain for me for several days at a time without medication. I can come in here with a headache and he can fix that. He’s also been able to fix many problems in my body I didn’t even know I had. He’s a great guy, I call him a Miracle Worker! Thank you.”
