Hiatal Hernia Treatment

Hiatal Hernia Treatment is needed when the upper part of the stomach pokes through the opening in the diaphragm muscle made by the esophagus. This opening can get enlarged( mainly from not chewing your food enough and swallowing it whole) and can cause symptoms of acid reflux.

How Chiropractic Can Help

The nerve supply to this diaphragm muscle comes from your neck and also the lower middle back. Bones out of alignment here can add to the problems.  A simple muscle test can determine if this is your problem or not. What’s great about it is we can also retest after the treatment to see if it was effective. Here’s a patient talking about her “herniated stomach” and how much better she felt after getting some treatments.
