About Me
I’m originally from New Jersey and got my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Ramapo College of NJ in 1985.
Why did I become a Chiropractor?
I was born to be a chiropractor because as a teenager my mom was always having neck problems and she started going to see a chiropractor for help. When she came back feeling worse I thought I could do a better job! So I took it upon myself to start working on her and doing what I could. I’d rub her shoulders, massage her neck, move her head around, etc. It was when she said to me “Boy! You’ve got great hands! You should go be a chiropractor too” that I decided to make it my life’s work.
Where did I go to chiropractic school?
Mom decided to move to California while I was still at Ramapo College. I applied and was accepted to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1989 and making the Dean’s List for academic achievement.
While at LACC I was also president of the school’s academic fraternity, Delta Tau Alpha, from 1988-1989.
What other training have you done?
Before graduation I did some extra study with Dr. James Cox, DC, DACBR in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He invented the Cox technique which is a non surgical, low force technique for treating herniated lumbar discs.
I also took advanced post graduate classes in Applied Kinesiology with the world famous Wally Schmidt DC. Wally Schmidt worked closely with George Goodheart who was the developer of AK.
I’ve also studied Acupuncture also with John Amaro, DC, FIAMA.
I currently do a lot of study in the field of Nutrition and improving human performance with Nutriwest and Dr. Lynn Toohey (pictured above).
